Eh I'll try to make a long story short. When we met she was into typical girl cars... lexus IS, BMW 3 series. I introduced her to the world of GM performance cars... got her in the GTO... meanwhile I was saving for my Zoh. We break up and she still was hanging around the local car scene... especially the club I helped start... it was all bad, and then she bought a Z06 before me... even tho she said before she never really liked the style, so it was kinda outta spite to me. I had to watch her attention whore around all the local GM boards etc...

So my advice... don't get your girl heavy into the local scene!

And to answer the other dude's question... if she's already into it, then that's cool. It's just any decent looking girl in the car scene is gonna get leghumped to all hell by the desperate lonely guys.. so if you can handle that then it's okay.

Last girl I liked is into the car scene but she's not an attention whore like some others so... I guess it can be cool... I just got the worst possible situation from that one ex

LoL I only brought her up to make my point. Most car guys thinks it'd be awesome to have a girl into cars... I just wanted to show that it's not as awesome as one might think (in some girls cases) :nod:

Hey, I resemble that remark! Haha.

My ex bought a '02 SS (M6 too) cuz she always loved my '99 Z/28. But she isn't into racing it or the local car club scene so at least I don't have to deal with that.

Anyway, a hot chick in a hot car is bad ass and an obvious turn-on. But there are ups and downs to it. It's kind of nice when it's just 'your thing' and she's impressed by the cars, but doesn't really 'get it.' But then again, if she's fully into it and races w/ you it's easier to justify spending all your time/money on AutoX weekends and track days. It can really go either way.

That was the point... it's called a J-O-K-E. Haha.

Anyway, I'd say 80% of the other ppl I see driving 2nd generation IS's, and probably 90+% of the IS250s are women. I have no problem admitting it's somewhat of a 'girl's car.' But it's a damn nice girl's car. ;)
