the challenger does look very beefy although don't quite like the rear color pattern if it's sporting that rear swivel quarter panel stripe. although once the camaro is slapped on with some big rear meats its game over...

im just not a fan of a lot of the newer cars coming out. the boxy bodies and straight edges just arent attractive to me. i do like whats gonna be under the hood tho :D

give it a year and people will be lovin the new camaro.

i remember when the late 4th gen(catfish) style came out and i still have a lt1 body style. i thought the new look was horrible and i loved my car... then i bought my 00 SS and havent looked back.

another example is when the c6 came out. people were dissapointed by the non pop up light and such but now people love em.

itll turn around and more will like it, no worries

lol. that would be great, although I'm good friends with some people, and have been following the 5th gen since 06 when I first learned of it's revival. Just hang around on my camaro forums alot and have been for awhile. That site gives you more knowledge about the fifth gens than the dealers get. Plus I went to the IDL broadcast at a serramonte dealership so I got some inside info there also. =P

I think when the Camaro comes out it will quickly gain popularity. I remember when the 4th gens first came out and there was a lot of negative comments but now they are very popular.

Hate to say it but my favorite handling car is my wife's 84 Z.


That Slater show/GM commercial looks pretty good....guns ,explosions and a Camaro. Who can ask for more.

man, so im trying to sell my camaro, but everytime i drive it, i love it, til something breaks or i have to drive a long distance. im torn between selling it and getting something more practical while i finish up my 2 yrs of school, or just keeping it.

Sell it, then buy a 5th gen. better mpg, more comfortable for long drives and looks just as good if not better.
